About Ole & Nu

The Ole & Nu Style Fellas was founded by Sue and Darryl Press in 1997. We are proud to represent the Treme neighborhood of New Orleans as a part of the city’s “Second Line” parade culture.

The club has always been a family oriented group, with a focus on making an impact in the lives of children in the community, promoting strong character and outstanding conduct.

We are well known for our original second line costumes, designed by club member Tyrone Miller. Creating the costumes each year is a team effort, with many of our members hand beading, trimming and feathering the costumes themselves.

Each spring, Ole & Nu hosts a ball (by invitation only) to celebrate our king and queen, followed by our yearly parade date in the third week of April.
